Frequently asked questions

What design services does Hilance cover?
Categories include UI/UX design, landing pages, branding, logos, pitch decks, social media creatives and illustration. Each service page describes its scope, price and delivery time; availability depends on the designer.
Who applies to a posted job?
The client posts a brief. Designers submit applications and the client selects a designer. Clients can also start from a designer's published service.
Do I need a wallet to browse or chat?
Browsing the catalog does not require a wallet. Deal participants can chat after signing in; chatting itself does not require a connected wallet. Blockchain payments use a separate wallet flow.
How do payments work?
The payment flow currently runs on the Base Sepolia test network with mUSDC. These are test transactions, not real USDC settlement. Escrow locks funds for a deal and releases them through the approval or dispute-resolution process. Do not send real funds to the test network.
Can I order every service in the catalog?
No. Availability is shown on the service page. Demonstration profiles and sample services illustrate the marketplace: they are not independent designers, and hiring and payment for these examples are disabled.
Can clients and designers exchange contact details?
Hilance rules require communication and project agreements to stay on the platform. Personal contact exchange and bypassing the deal flow are not allowed. Work links may be used to view portfolios.
Which languages are supported?
The interface is available in English and Russian. English is the default; the language switch in the header opens the Russian version.
